Wach, who weighed in at 291 lbs, was out-weighed by Fury, who registered 264½ lbs, his lowest official weight in his last three outings. Wach’s professional record now stands at 39-14, with 12 of those defeats occurring in his last 18 fights since 2017.
Reports from the venue indicated that Fury controlled the early rounds, although a clip posted on X showed Wach landing a right hand in the second round. Fury was also seen landing uppercuts in the fifth round with little resistance from Wach. One reporter even claimed Fury paused to kiss Wach during the sixth round.
The fight ended when Wach and his corner decided to withdraw, granting Fury his first stoppage victory since his 2022 win against Derek Chisora.
